2. What Data We Process and Why
2.1 Registration and User Accounts
When you register on the portal, we process your name, email address, and password (in encrypted form), as well as any additional data you voluntarily provide in your profile. Purpose: to enable access to the members’ area, courses, and the ability to comment on content. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — by registering, you enter into a service agreement with us.
2.2 Online Courses
When you complete online courses, we process data about your progress, test results, and certificates. Purpose: to enable learning and to issue proof of completion. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
2.3 Comments
When you post a comment, we process the data entered in the comment form (name, email, comment text), your IP address, and browser user agent string (for spam protection). Your email address may be sent, in hashed form, to the Gravatar service to check whether a profile picture is associated with it — learn more at automattic.com/privacy. Legal basis: the operator’s legitimate interest in managing discussion and preventing misuse.
2.4 Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your email address to send you informational emails about new articles and portal content. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email.
2.5 Traffic Analysis (Google Analytics / Site Kit)
The portal uses the Google Site Kit tool to measure traffic, which uses cookies and processes anonymized data about your behavior on the site (pages visited, time spent on the page, approximate location, device type). This data may be transferred to Google LLC, including outside the EU/EEA. Legal basis: your consent given via the cookie banner. 2.6 Social Media Sharing
The portal uses a plugin for sharing content on social media (Sassy Social Share). Clicking a share button may engage third-party services (Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and others), which are governed by their own privacy policies.
2.7 Contact Forms and Email Communication
If you contact us by email, we process your email address and the content of your message in order to handle your request. Legal basis: legitimate interest, or pre-contractual relations.
3. Retention Period
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose of processing — for example, membership data for the duration of your registration and, thereafter, for the period required by law. Comments are retained for as long as the article they were posted under exists, unless you request their deletion sooner.
4. Recipients of Data
Your data may be disclosed to our hosting provider (Hostinger), to Google (as part of traffic analysis and Site Kit), and to other technical service providers necessary for operating the portal. We do not pass any data to third parties for marketing purposes without your consent.
5. Your Rights
As a data subject, you have the right to:

- request correction of inaccurate data,
- request erasure of data (the “right to be forgotten”),
- object to processing based on legitimate interest,
- request restriction of processing,
